City Council Approves Community Outreach and Engagement Plan

On July 17, 2023, the San Fernando City Council approved the Downtown Master Plan’s Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) Plan. The COE Plan establishes and executes an inclusive, accessible, and transparent outreach and engagement process that allows community members to provide meaningful input that will shape the future of Downtown San Fernando. It is consistent with the goals, principles, and standards for community engagement set forth by the City’s Community Engagement Framework to achieve the goal of creating a more inclusive, transparent, and participatory base of residents, businesses, and visitors.
